Burst Free

I feel my body, my mind, weighted down

— all is heavy —

but my blood, my inner fire, my passion,

the little unburdened kid in me,

patiently waits to burst free.

Some of us die never having burst.

  1. I say let that little child out and learn to play. Heading to the Adirondacks, camera in hand, to snowshoe today. The temp is around 20 with a 9 mph wind so it should be a good day!! Love the color composition!

Beautiful! Do you know what they are? I’m guessing some sort of wild onion.

    • I took this photo a few springs ago so I can’t remember exactly what it was other than I really liked the colors. 🙂 If I see it again this spring I’ll have to take note of some of it’s characteristics and research it a bit. Hope you have a great day! Enjoy!
