That’s a cool hobby! 🙂 This one is pretty darn creppy! Looks like it came right out of a Tim Burton movie!

Thanks! I always liked this one because it had that old farmhouse rustic look to it. A lot of the other ones she collects have a more slick modern feel to them. She has her dolls and gargoyles and I have my skulls and fantasy figurines. 🙂

Skulls are awesome! I have some nice fossil skulls as part of my fossil collection.

Cool! All my skulls are replicas or just fantasy interpretations of skulls. My daughter has a friend that likes collecting skulls and she bought her a bird skull for Christmas. It was a very interesting looking skull. I’ll have to get me a real one some day to go with all the other ones. 🙂

HAHA! I would have to agree. My wife likes to collect them so it goes without saying that there are quite a few more creepy ones to go with it. I can’t complain though.. she gives me plenty of slack on my mountain bikes so I live with a lot of creepy dolls. 🙂 Have a great weekend and stay warm!

I was reading the quote on my small screen tablet…then scrolled for you photo of the day….NOT WHAT I EXPECTED! Those piercing blue eyes put fear right back into me! LOL. Good job today!

HAHA! Well the picture was taken for a challenge that a Facebook group presented to everyone. It was to take a picture of something you have at the house. My wife collects creepy dolls so we have quite a few around the house but this one has always been one of my favorites. I played around with the lighting a bit to get the final result but it got the point across. 🙂 It’s fun to try something different and step outside our normal ‘box’. Hope you have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend!

I yelped! Yes, this doll definitely had the desired effect… Very creepy and yes, I will have nightmares, ha!

HAHA! I guess I’m just jaded because I get to see it every day along with all his other creepy friends that sit about the house. 🙂 This picture was for a Facebook group photo challenge so that’s why it’s outside my normal nature shots.

Creepy as it may be, it is a great photo, nonetheless!

What the heck! 🙂 Hey, I love your choice in literature. What a great pairing with your wife’s creepy doll.

Thanks! Our house is an eclectic combination of library and museum. I’ve been tilted towards the fantasy and science fiction genres since I was very young and first read The Hobbit. I enjoy having those things still around me. It’s like having a room full of old friends in the house. 🙂

Thanks for giving us a little peek at the museum 🙂

I love creepy dolls! That one your wife has is really special. My husband doesn’t celebrate my interest in creepy dolls. 😦 He wants them out of the house. So does my first grader. Anyhow, nice picture of the doll!

Thanks! My taste goes more toward the fantasy – dragons, gargoyles, medieval figures – but I also enjoy horror or scary stuff as well. I guess you could say we have a wide variety of objects that inhabit our house but I enjoy having them around me because they all instill a certain memory that is fun to visit. 🙂 I went as far to make a creepy doll for my wife’s birthday one year and it turned out fairly well. She liked it at least. 🙂 Have a great week!
